Bill Urale, more popularly known as King Kapisi is a New Zealand hip-hop artist of Samoan origin. He has released three albums and is the first New Zealand artist to win the APRA Silver Scroll, winning songwriter of the year for his single Reverse Resistance.

King Kapisi has performed alongside many famous international acts including Spearhead, The Black Eyed Peas, Michael Franti, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Moby and Janet Jackson.

Outside of music, King Kapisi has opened his own urban streetwear clothing label in 2002 called Overstayer Clothing, which was also the first local urban street label to be made available in Farmers stores.
